WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (4/2/2017) A 28-year-old man was seriously wounded in a shooting in Wilmington this morning, according to reports from the scene.
The incident happened about 10 a.m. as the man was walking in the 500 block of W. Seventh St.
Wilmington police, responding to a report of shots fired, found at least a half-dozen shell casings but no victim.
As they were investigating a 28-year-old man showed up at Wilmington Hospital with gunshot wounds to his back and arm, police said. He was in stable condition.
The victim’s age initially had been reported as 19.
