18-year-old Wilmington man shot in head dies

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (3/29/2017) An 18-year-old man shot in the head on Tuesday has died of his injuries, Wilmington police reported this afternoon.

The shooting happened shortly after 4 p.m. at 23rd and Claymont streets.

Police said Yaseem Powell, 18, of Wilmington, died at Christiana Hospital on Tuesday night.

No suspect information was released.
