WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (3/24/2017) A 17-year-old boy was wounded in the abdomen in a shooting in Wilmington on Thursday night, according to reports from the scene.
The shooting happened about 8:45 p.m. near Seventh and Pine streets.
The victim ran three blocks and collapsed in front of a store at Eighth and Spruce streets.
He was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in serious condition.
Wilmington police are investigating the shooting.
