WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (2/21/2017) A 29-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Wilmington on Monday, city police said.
The shooting happened about 4:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of N. Locust St.
Officers responding to a report of shots fired found the victim in the 800 block of Vandever Ave.
He was wounded in the shoulder and buttocks.
New Castle County paramedics treated him at the scene and he was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in fair condition, police said.
