CLAYMONT, DELAWARE (1/13/2017) Two Burger King employees faced a robber at gunpoint early today in the parking lot of the Claymont restaurant, the Delaware State Police said.
The crime at 2911 Philadelphia Pike happened about 1:40 a.m.
Police said when the two male employees were approached by a male pointing a handgun at them, one of the employees fled.
The robber demanded money from the one who remained, but he didn’t have any.
The robber then fled, getting into the passenger seat of a dark passenger car that was driven off on Philadelphia Pike.
The robber was described as black, 35-40 years old, 5-feet-9 to 6-feet, weighing 170-200 pounds. He was wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants.
