Reward offered in shooting death of Wilmington store owner

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/11/2017) A reward up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the shooting death of a Wilmington corner store owner.

The crime happened about 1 p.m. Monday at 101 N. Clayton St., at the intersection with Lancaster Avenue.

The 64-year-old victim was identified as Santanu Muhuri of Wilmington.

Police said he suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, where he was pronounced dead.
