34-year-old man dies after Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/11/2017) A 34-year-old man died early today after a shooting in Wilmington, city police said.

Shots were reported shortly after midnight in the 100 block of E. 14th St.

The victim was found in a home with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso, police said.

He was treated by New Castle County paramedics and taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, where he was pronounced dead.
