DOVER, DELAWARE (1/11/2017) A 31-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday night at the Clearfield Apartments, Dover police reported this morning.
The shooting happened about 7:40 p.m. inside an apartment at 120 Haman Drive.
The victim was identified as Javan Cale and police said he was shot multiple times in the torso in an exchange of gunfire with two unknown people, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
The two fled west from the apartment building.
Cale was rushed to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, where he later died of his injuries, Hoffman said.
