3 men shot in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/11/2017) Three men were shot in Wilmington this evening, according to city police.

The shootings happened about 5:40 p.m. in the 300 block of S. Jackson St.

Two of the victims were found inside a home. A 19-year-old man suffered an apparent gunshot wound to his buttocks and a 36-year-old was wounded in his left thigh.

The third victim was found a block away, in the 300 block of S. Van Buren St. The 24-year-old man was wounded in the abdomen.

 

Police said all three were treated by New Castle County paramedics and taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition.

Numerous streets were closed in the area as police investigated.
