EDGEMOOR, DELAWARE (1/4/2017) A victim escaped when three intruders kicked in a door at the Village at Fox Point Apartments this afternoon, New Castle County police said.
The home invasion happened about 1:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Kynlyn Drive.
The victim was in an apartment when the three kicked in the front door and confronted her, police said.
She fled to a bedroom and then escaped from the apartment.
Police said she was taken to a hospital but declined medical treatment.
Nothing was reported stolen from the home.
Police said the three intruders were described as black males and were using a silver sedan.
