NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (12/27/2016) An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the Christmas Eve hit-and-run death of a woman on Route 273 west of New Castle, the Delaware State Police said Monday night.
The collision happened Saturday at the East Edinburgh Drive intersection, killing 54-year-old Lisa Bolden of New Castle.
Police said they arrested Bradford Pollock, of New Castle, on Sunday at a home in the first block of Prangs Lane in the Rambleton Acres neighborhood, less than a mile from the crash site.
Police said someone reported a white Chevrolet Impala in the driveway had front-end damage to it, and investigators linked the car to the fatal collision.
Pollock was charged with leaving the scene of a collision resulting in death and driving without a valid license. He was being held at Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $6,100 secured bail.
