Gun pointed at customer in 7-Eleven robbery in Dover

DOVER, DELAWARE (12/16/2016) A gun was pointed at a customer during the robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Dover early today, city police said.

The robbery was reported at 1:49 a.m. at 1019 Walker Road, in the Hamlet Shopping Center.

The robbers – both male, armed and wearing disguises –  demanded cash from a 32-year-old man working at the store.

One of the robbers removed an undisclosed amount of money from the register and also took money from the employee, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

One of the robbers pointed a gun at a female customer but neither she nor the employee were injured, Hoffman said.
