Shots fired in Dover home invasion

DOVER, DELAWARE (11/14/2016) Two shots were fired into the front door of a home before the door was kicked in and a woman inside robbed, Dover police reported Sunday.

The crime happened about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the first block of S. New St.

Once inside the home, the intruder, who police described only as a black male, pointed the gun at the 29-year-old woman and demanded cash.

The victim turned over money and the robber fled, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
