Shots fired outside Christiana Mall; car hit

CHRISTIANA, DELAWARE (10/23/2016) Gunfire rang out in the parking lot of the Christiana Mall early Saturday as party bus passengers were returning from a trip to Washington, D.C., the Delaware State Police said.

No one was injured but bullets struck a parked car in the incident about 5:10 a.m. on the west side of the Nordstrom store, 100 Christiana Mall Road.

The gunshots happened as the passengers were leaving the bus to get to their cars. They quickly got back on the bus and left the area until troopers arrived.

Police said they are looking for two suspects described only as black males in dark clothing with handguns.
