BEAR, DELAWARE (7/6/2016) A gunman wearing a motorcycle helmet escaped with cash from a Food Lion grocery store in Bear on Monday night, Delaware State Police said.
The robbery happened about 7:30 p.m. at 1606 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40).
The robber showed a handgun and confronted a female cashier. She turned over money from the register and the robber fled out the store to the east.
No one was injured.
The robber was described as 5-feet-8 to 6 feet and weighing 175-200 pounds. He was wearing a long-sleeve black T-shirt, black pants and brown boots.
