Police identify 18-year-old Glasgow man shot to death in Bear

BEAR, DELAWARE (6/27/2016) New Castle County police have released the name of an 18-year-old man shot to death in Bear last week.

The shooting happened about 4:30 p.m. Friday in front of the 2200 building on Ashkirk Place at the Apple Chase Apartments.

The man killed, Tyreek Larkins, of the first block of Forsythia Lane in Glasgow, was sitting with two other men in a Nissan Maxima when someone approached and fired into the car.

The car was then driven a short distance when it was then involved in a crash at Scotland Drive and Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40).
