NEWARK, DELAWARE (4/23/2016) A gunman robbed a Sunoco gas station on South College Avenue, the Newark police reported Friday.
The crime happened about 7:50 p.m. Thursday at Welsh Tract Road.
Police the the 38-year-old man working at the business reported a white male dressed in black clothing and with a handgun demanded money from the cash drawer, then fled on foot toward Welsh Tract Road.
The robber was about 6 feet tall, with thin build and carrying a back pack, Lt. Bill Hargrove said.
No one was injured.
