CENTREVILLE, DELAWARE (4/18/2016) Two people were injured this morning when an SUV went off Smiths Bridge Road and struck a boulder and tree, then overturned, according to reports from the scene.
The accident happened about 11:15 a.m. near the Granogue mansion, between the Brandywine Creek and Montchanin Road.
Firefighters from Talleyville responded as well as from Delaware County in Pennsylvania.
New Castle County police are investigating the crash.
The road was closed as police investigated and workers prepared to remove the wreckage.
