SMYRNA, DELAWARE (3/22/2016) A car fire caused delays this morning on southbound Route 1 at the south Smyrna exit.
The fire was just south of the interchange, behind the Rommel motorcycle dealership.
Citizens Hose Company firefighters were dispatched at 7:53 a.m.
Traffic was being diverted onto U.S. 13 until the road was reopened.
