UPDATED STORY: Pickup driver, seriously injured, charged with DUI in I-495 rollover crash
EDGEMOOR, DELAWARE (3/20/2016) At least two people were injured when a pickup truck crashed and overturned several times on northbound Interstate 495 this evening, according to reports from the scene.
The crash was reported at 7:41 p.m. in the northbound lanes north of Edgemoor Road, near Fox Point State Park.
The pickup truck ended up on its roof against the median guard rail.
At least two people were taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
Brandywine Hundred and Claymont firefighters responded as well as New Castle County paramedics.
One lane was getting by the wreck on the right but a major backup was reported.
