GLASGOW, DELAWARE (3/8/2016) A 25-year-old woman was trapped in her vehicle when it struck a tree early today, authorities said.
The accident happened about 2 a.m. in the 900 block of Woods Road.
Firefighters extricated the woman and she was treated at the scene for facial and extremity injuries, said Cpl. David J. McKinney Jr. of New Castle County paramedics.
She was taken by Christiana Fire Company ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition.
New Castle County police were investigating the crash.
