CLAYMONT, DELAWARE (2/29/2016) A 28-year-old man was injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday on Interstate 495, authorities said.
The accident happened about 1:40 p.m. near the Harbor House apartments.
The victim was found conscious in the roadway with multiple bodywide injuries, said. Cpl. David J. McKinney Jr. of New Castle County paramedics.
He was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in stable condition, McKinney said.
The crash is under investigation by Delaware State Police.
Claymont and Brandywine Hundred fire companies also responded.
