GLASGOW, DELAWARE (1/11/2016) A Wawa convenience store was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday, the Delaware State Police reported.
The crime happened shortly before 2 a.m. at 2754 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40).
The two robbers, one armed with a handgun, confronted a 23-year-old man working at the store and demanded money from the registers and safe. He complied and the robbers fled south on Perch Creek Drive.
No one was injured.
Police said both robbers were black, about 5-feet-10 and 150-170 pounds. The one with a gun was wearing a dark jacket, pants and shoes. The other wore a dark jacket and blue jeans. Their faces were covered.
