CHRISTIANA , DELAWARE (1/8/2016) A 21-year-old woman killed when she was struck by multiple vehicles on Route 1 near Christiana Mall has been identified, Delaware State Police said this morning.
The pedestrian accident happened during the morning commute Tuesday in the northbound lanes just north of the mall exit.
The woman killed was identified as Michelle G. Rivera of Bear.
Police had said earlier she was either trying to cross the highway or was walking in the right lane.
