BRIDGEVILLE, DELAWARE (1/8/2016) Gunfire broke out Thursday evening at the same home where a man was shot to death earlier in the day south of Bridgeville, the Delaware State Police said this morning.
The latest incident happened about 9:55 p.m. in the 20000 block of Conrail Road, in the Cannon area.
A bedroom window in the front of the house was shot out but no one was in the room at the time, police said.
A 53-year-old woman told troopers she and her 63-year-old boyfriend were in a back bedroom when she heard the gunfire outside. She closed the bedroom door and called 911.
A 46-year-old man also was sleeping in another room at the time. None of the residents were injured.’
State, Bridgeville and Seaford police searched the area but no suspects were found.
