TYBOUTS CORNER, DELAWARE (1/4/2016) Two masked, armed robbers escaped with cash from a Valero gas station Sunday night on U.S. 13 at Tybouts Corner, the Delaware State Police reported this morning.
The robbery at 891 S. DuPont Highway happened about 9:55 p.m.
One of the robbers, armed with a handgun, went behind the sales counter and confronted a male clerk, while the second, armed with a knife, stood watch over a female worker.
After the clerk turned over money from the cash register, the pair fled in a white vehicle.
There were no injuries.
Police said both robbers were white males. The one with a gun was 5-feet-8 to 6-feet tall and was wearing a black jacket, dark sweat pants and white sneakers..
The other was 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10 and was wearing a brown hooded jacket, cargo pants and white sneakers.
