NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (12/25/2015) An armed man robbed a convenience store on Route 141 late Thursday night, Delaware State Police said this morning.
The robbery happened about 9:33 p.m. at the Market Place, 752 W. Basin Road (Route 141).
The robber, armed with a handgun, confronted two clerks who were behind the counter. They turned over cash and he fled. No one was injured.
The robber was described as white, 20-30 years old and 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-9. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black mask.
