Brother sought in stabbing near New Castle

NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (12/25/2015) A 45-year-old man is being sought in the stabbing of his brother this morning in the Oakmont community near New Castle, police said.

Tyrone Prince, 45, of the first block of Birkshire Road, is being sought in connection with the incident at that address about 7:45 a.m.

The 47-year-old brother suffered wounds to his torso and underwent surgery at Christiana Hospital in Stanton, said Cpl. Tracey Duffy of New Castle County police.

“The victim advised he was stabbed by Prince after an argument,” Duffy said. Prince fled before police arrived.

Prince was described as black, 5-feet-11 and about 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
