2 sought in Wells Fargo Bank robbery

BELLEFONTE, DELAWARE (12/22/2015) Two armed robbers are sought after escaping with cash from the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 814 Philadelphia Pike near Bellefonte, the Delaware State Police said Monday.

The robbery happened about 3 p.m. Thursday.

One robber stood by the door, acting as a lookout, while the other demanded money from the tellers, police said.

The two women behind the counter turned over cash and the two robbers fled.

Both were described as black males and had guns. One was 6-feet to 6-feet-4, weighing 170-185 pounds. He was wearing dark sweat pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark hat.

The other was 6-feet to 6-feet-1, wearing a tan coat with denim jacket underneath, dark shirt and dark pants.
