Gold Club employee charged in shooting of customer

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/21/2015) An employee of the Gold Club south of Wilmington has been charged in the shooting of a customer earlier this year, Delaware State Police said this morning.

Terrance E. Everett, 38, of Wilmington, was arrested Tuesday as he arrived at the Division of Probation and Parole office in Wilmington.

Police said detectives located the gun used in the Sept. 27 shooting during a search of a home in the Four Seasons development in Glasgow and linked it to Everett.

He was charged with first-degree assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and first-degree reckless endangering.

Everett was being held at Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington in lieu of $52,500 cash bail.

 

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was treated at Christiana Hospital after the shooting at 1031 S. Market St. and released.
