Wells Fargo Bank robbed on Capitol Trail

PIKE CREEK, DELAWARE (11/24/2015) A Wells Fargo Bank branch was robbed on Monday, the Delaware State Police said today.

The incident happened shortly after 3 p.m. at 2624 Capitol Trail (Route 2), near Pike Creek.

The masked male robber approached a teller and she complied with his demand for money. No weapon was displayed or implied.

The robber then fled. No one was hurt.

The robber was described as 5-feet-7 to 6 feet and about 180-210 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, gray pants and brown boots.

Police asked anyone with information to contact Detective J. Paul Doherty at 302-365-8438.
