NEWARK, DELAWARE (11/18/2015) Two men are facing charges in robberies at the GameStop store on Suburban Drive in Newark, city police said Tuesday.

The first robbery happened Oct. 27 and the second on Nov. 11, with money and various electronic items taken. The robbers also demanded money from customers but they did not get any, police said.

After the second robbery, police chased a vehicle fleeing the area at high speed, but later found it abandoned near Eggerts Lane.

Investigation led police to identify two suspects, Eric Brown, 21, and Kendall Watts, 22, both of Newark.

Watts was arrested Friday and charged with eight counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of wearing a disguise during commission of a felony and two counts of second-degree conspiracy. He was being held at Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington in lieu of $208,000 cash bail.

Brown was already incarcerated from an unrelated crime, Cpl. James Spadola said, and he was awaiting arraignment on the same charges as Watts.
