BEAR, DELAWARE (9/22/2015) A man robbed the M&T Bank branch at the Fox Run Shopping Center on Monday, the Delaware State Police reported today.
The crime happened about 11:25 a.m., when the man approached a teller with a demand note for cash. The woman turned over an undisclosed amount and the robber fled, leaving behind a backpack.
Troopers evacuated the bank until he police bomb squad determined it posed no danger.
There were no injuries, police said.
The robber was describe as white, 35-40 years old and about 6-feet-1. He was wearing a red and grey striped shirt, shorts and sneakers.
