Man robs 7-Eleven store in Bear

BEAR, DELAWARE (10/31/2015) A man robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in Bear, the Delaware State Police reported Friday.

The robber implied he had a gun but didn’t show one when he demanded cash from a clerk at the store at 1700 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40), at the Porter Road intersection.

The employee turned over cash from the register and the robber fled. The clerk was not hurt.

The robber was described as white, 20-30 years old, about 5-feet-7 and 130-140 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap, grey shorts and sneakers.
