7-Eleven store robbed at gunpoint

BROOKSIDE, DELAWARE (10/27/2015) Three gunmen robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store early today, Delaware State Police said.

The robbery was reported at 2:16 a.m. at 699 E. Chestnut Hill Road (Route 4).

The three robbers, all with handguns and wearing bandannas over their faces, demanded money from the register and the male employee complied. The trio also took his cellphone and numerous cartoons of cigarettes before they fled.

No one was injured.

One robber was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, tan khakis, black sneakers and sunglasses.

Another was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The third was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey or tan pants and black sneakers.

Police asked anyone with information to call at 302-365-8566.
