SEAFORD, DELAWARE (10/20/2015) The driver of a pickup truck that struck a bicyclist in a hit-and-run crash west of Seaford has been located, Delaware State Police said Monday.
Investigators were contacted Monday by Justin J. Trice, 26, of Easton, Maryland. Police said he was driving a 1999 GMC Sonoma pickup truck that struck 17-year-old Melleca D. Butler Jr. on Thursday while he was riding a bicycle south on Woodpecker Road approaching Old Carriage Road.
Police said no charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing.
Butler remains hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
