BEAR, DELAWARE (9/25/2015) Two fires blocks apart in the Glasgow Court trailer park on Thursday night were arson, investigators said today.

When Christiana firefighters arrived shortly after 7 p.m., an abandoned trailer in the 100 block of Edinburg St. was heavily engulfed in flames, said Robert L. Fox, chief deputy state fire marshal.

A second abandoned trailer two blocks away, in the 100 block of Garnett St., also was on fire, Fox said.

He said investigators from the Delaware state Fire Marshal’s Office determined the blazes were started by someone igniting combustibles.

Damage to the trailers was estimated at $5,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fire Marshal’s Office at 302-323-5375.
