WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (9/23/2015) A 44-year-old man struck by a tractor-trailer this morning on Interstate 95 was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
The pedestrian accident happened about 11:30 a.m. in the area of the bridge over the Brandywine.
The man was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, said Cpl. Abigail E. Haas.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt, she said.
Delaware State Police are investigating.
