UPDATED STORY: Police say four officers involved in fatal shooting
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (9/23/2015) A man armed with a handgun was shot and killed by Wilmington police this afternoon, authorities said.
The incident happened in the 1800 block of Tulip St.
Police had been called to the area of Scott and Tulip streets just after 3 p.m. for a report of a man with a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to reports from the scene, the man was in a wheelchair.
Police blocked off the area and said more details would be provided later.
