UPDATED STORY: Police identify victim; death ruled homicide
FELTON, DELAWARE (9/7/2015) A 48-year-old man was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso, Delaware State Police said today.
Troopers were asked to check on the welfare of the man at his home in the 1000 block of Cabin Ridge Road northwest of Felton about 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
A friend was concerned since the man had not been heard from since the previous day, police said.
Troopers found the man dead in the living room.
An autopsy by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science is expected to be done within the next couple of days to determine how the man died, police said.
