Dover driver gives ride, is carjacked by 2 men

DOVER, DELAWARE (9/4/2015) After giving a ride to two men, a motorist was carjacked by them, Dover police said today.

The incident happened about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at the 7-Eleven in the Hamlet Shopping Center, 1019 Walker Road.

One they arrived at the store, the two men showed firearms and demanded the victim’s money, Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.

The two men – described as black and 18-25 years old – fled with cash, his cellphone and his black 2005 Cadillac CTS.

Hoffman asked anyone with information to contact police at 302-736-7111.
