Mystery objects damage 3 vehicles in Limestone Road area

DSP logoMILLTOWN/PIKE CREEK/STANTON, DELAWARE (9/2/2015) Delaware State Police are investigating three incidents in the Limestone Road area in which vehicles driven by women have had unknown objects cause damage.

On Aug. 24, a 55-year-old woman was eastbound on Kirkwood Highway (Route 2) just west of Limestone Road (Route 7) about 7:15 p.m. when her vehicle was struck by an unknown object that damaged the side.

On Aug. 25, a 19-year-old woman was sitting in her Jeep Liberty SUV in the parking lot at the Pike Creek Shopping Center, 4702 Limestone Road, about 10:20 p.m. when an object shattered the rear window.

On Aug. 28, a 47-year-old woman was stopped at a red light on southbound Limestone Road at Kirkwood Highway when an object shattered the rear window of her Volkswagen Jetta.

No one was injured in any of the incidents, police said.
