NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (9/1/2015) The driver of a Jeep Cherokee was taken to a hospital after crashing through a fence at New Castle Airport this afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
The crash happened after 5 p.m. as the male driver was southbound on U.S. 13 at Old Churchmans Road.
The Jeep went through the fence along U.S. 13 (DuPont highway), struck aircraft landing lights inside and hit another fence along Old Churchmans Road.
Delaware State Police are investigating.
