Woman sought in Brandywine Hundred shed burglaries

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (8/12/2015) A Brandywine Hundred woman is being sought by police in connection with six shed burglaries in the area, New Castle County police said today.

Lauren Malatesta, 28, of the 2300 block of Andy’s Lane, was linked to the burglaries in the Chapelcroft, Delwynn, Wexford and Surrey Park neighborhoods, police said.

Items were stolen from unsecured sheds in the early morning hours in May through July, Officer First Class Tracey Duffy said.

Anyone with information on Malatesta is asked to call police at 302-573-2800.
