DOVER, DELAWARE (8/11/2015) Dover police say two shootings happened minutes apart off White Oak Road.
The first shooting was just after 3 p.m. Monday on Stevenson Drive in Manchester Square.
Multiple shots were fired from a maroon or dark red Chevrolet Equinox driving through the neighborhood.
Police recovered several .22 caliber rounds in the area.
About 1-2 minutes after the first incident, police said, a single male shot about 6 rounds in Dover Park, just east of Manchester Square. Police recovered several .45 caliber shell casings there.
About three hours later, police said, an 18-year-old victim arrived at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for treatment of a non-puncture gunshot wound to his foot.
Police said their investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7111.
