BEAR, DELAWARE (7/9/2015) New Castle County police have released a sketch of a suspect in a Bear home invasion earlier this month.

The robbery happened about 7 p.m. July 1 in the 900 block of N. Barrett Lane at the Barrett Run Apartments.

Three Hispanic males posing as bail bondsmen removed cash, jewelry and other items and threatened a 26-year-old man with a weapon before they fled, Officer First Class Tracey Duffy said Wednesday.

She released these descriptions of three Hispanic males:

 

  • 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-9, heavy build, about 220 pounds with long sideburns and a mustache. He wearing a dark windbreaker-style jacket with elastic around the wrists and words written on the back of the jacket.
  • 5-feet-11 to 6-feet-2, about 160 pounds with an average build and broad shoulders. He was wearing shorts and has a “sleeve” tattoo.
  • 5-feet-8, about 180 pounds. He was wearing a T-shirt, a vest with an unknown logo and a dark baseball hat.
