Skating teens robbed at gunpoint in Fox Run

GLASGOW, DELAWARE (7/1/2015) New Castle County police say two skating 15-year-olds were robbed at gunpoint in the Fox Run community in Glasgow.

The crime happened about 11:10 p.m. Monday at Fox Run Circle and Skeet Avenue, police reported today.

Three robbers, one with a handgun, approached but the teens continued to skate, but then were approached again.

One of the skaters was assaulted and the three robbers took several items and fled on foot.

The skater who was assaulted suffered a minor injury, Officer First Class Tom Jackson said..

Officers searched with a K-9 but could not locate the suspects, who were described as black males. One was 6-feet and 14o pounds with skinny build. Another was 5-feet-6 and 140-150 pounds with stocky build. The third was 5-feet-8 and 130 pounds with skinny build. All wore dark hooded sweatshirts and jeans.
