NEWARK, DELAWARE (7/1/2015) A 19-year-old employee was robbed at gunpoint outside the Buffalo Wild Wings Bar & Grill in Newark, city police said Tuesday.

The robbery happened about 10:40 p.m. Monday as the man, a student at Wilmington University, was in his car in the parking lot while on a break at the sports bar on South Main Street, Lt. Bill Hargrove said.

The robber with a handgun demanded money but when the victim was unable to produce any the robber took some property and fled on foot south on South Main Street.

The robber was described as black, 20-25 years old, 5-feet-11 to 6 feet and with thin build. He was wearing a light colored hoodie with red lettering and dark pants.
