Dover man sought in shooting near Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, DELAWARE (6/15/2015) A Dover man is being sought by Delaware State Police after a shooting north of Magnolia.

The shooting happened about 8:50 p.m.. Saturday during a party at a home in the 300 block of Marshview Terrace.

Police say 19-year-old Denzel D. Braker used a handgun to assault a 20-year-old Magnolia man, then shot a 30-year-old Dover man in a lower extremity.

Braker then fled in a gold Chevrolet Suburban with Delaware tag PC419746.

The 20-year-old later went to a local hospital for injuries not life-threatening, police said.

The 30-year-old was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of injuries not life-threatening.

Police have warrants charging Braker with assault, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony and reckless endangering.

He is described as 5-feet-10 and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
