MILFORD, DELAWARE (6/12/2015) Two men were arrested on heroin charges after they were found passed out in a vehicle along U.S. 113, Milford police reported Thursday.
The vehicle, still in drive, had come to a stop by the time police arrived in the 600 block of N. DuPont Blvd. (U.S. 113) on May 30.
The driver, Jordan I. West, 21, of Lincoln, had one bag of heroin and another of 26 different prescription pills, Young said.
West was charged with possession of heroin, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was released on $750 unsecured bond.
A passenger, Anthony L. Fowler, 24, of Milford, needed medical attention and was taken to Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital, treated and later released to police.
Fowler was found with six bags of heroin and was charged with possession of the drug and drug paraphernalia, Detective Dwight Young said, and released on $500 unsecured bond.
